Hola guapis
Once again, it's been a while, hasn't it? I have no excuses, I work 16 hours a week and still never find any time for blogging. It's such a shame because I enjoy it so much but there's always a book to read or a siesta to be taken or a pool to lounge around.

EMPEZAMOS DE NUEVO
Okay, so it's been a while. I would apologise but I've been having too much fun this last semester at uni - my last ever semester at UEA. It genuinely seems a bit crazy to write that, I've spent the last four years as a UEA student on Saturday I move out of Norwich forever. Well, I might come back but that won't be for a while. Noz is bae and I will always leave a lil part of my heart here.

I LEFT MY HEART IN BARCELONA
This past weekend was the best weekend of my year abroad, and potentially one of the best weekends of my whole life. Barcelona is now sitting pretty as my second favourite city in the whole world, losing out only to Newcastle (obviously).

CANCELLED CLASSES
Semester two of my year abroad here in Spain. I think by the end of this term I will only have attended 4 weeks of full classes. And that's not even because of 'Erasmus yolo let's skip woohoo!' I swear.

YEAR ABROAD SELF CARE
It's not really a secret that I seem to be struggling with my year abroad but I think that's probably because of other issues, on top of the massive amount of stress that comes with being uprooted. However, we are fortunate enough to be living in a time where mental health is becoming less and less of a taboo as days go by. At least not in the circles I'm in, both on and offline. A thing I see quite often online is the idea of self care - either things you prepare for your down days or things you do regularly to help yourself. So obviously me being me I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and write about what helps me out. Maybe if you're on a year abroad and also having a shitty time this could help.

T MINUS 100
I have 98 days left of my year abroad. Except I don't. I'm spending 17 of those in England so I actually have 81 days left of my year abroad in Spain. I'm struggling to come to terms with the fact that this thing is almost over.

LITTLE DIPS
I've been back in Spain, what, four(?) weeks now and can honestly say they've been some of my happiest weeks. It's not that anything that amazing has happened, it's just a long time in a very very long time I've felt consistently happy for a long period of time.

STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS | CATCH UP
Hey pals. It's Saturday night and I'm bored and although nothing really of note has happened, I want to write. Maybe nothing will come out, maybe this will be the longest post yet! Who knows. Definitely gonna get an award for the most boring year abroad blog haha, sorry not sorry. I was never going to be the person who went gallivanting to another continent for the weekend or ended up bungee jumping over a river.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT LIVING IN SPAIN
A lot of the time when I'm here I am kind of homesick and not really loving it as much as I maybe should so today I thought I'd remind myself of why I do really like it here.
