WHY TEACHING ISN'T FOR ME

Now, to everyone who's asked me in the last six months or so what my plan was after this year in Lanzarote, I've said "I'm going to apply to do my PGCE". Everyone who's asked me in the last three months or so has received the answer "I'm going to apply to do my PGCE at Oxford". Oxford obviously entered my headspace because my beau lives in Oxfordshire and studying at Oxford gave me a way to him. How could I not want to be close to this wee hunk?

CATCH UP

Hola guapis
Once again, it's been a while, hasn't it? I have no excuses, I work 16 hours a week and still never find any time for blogging. It's such a shame because I enjoy it so much but there's always a book to read or a siesta to be taken or a pool to lounge around.

THE START OF YEAR ABROAD NUMERO DOS

So back in June I definitely planned to get fully back into my blog like I was on my first year abroad. But the main differences between that year and this one is that I was suffering from crippling depression back then and writing was one of my only distractions, and that we had the internet almost straight away in Alicante. It took us a month to have wifi installed here, and I haven’t really been sad at all. Up until today the 5th of November. So apparently I only get the kickstart to writing when I’m sad, so that’s nice. (Editing Katy is reading this a week later and it's so very true because I haven't been sad for a week and therefore haven't been near blogger. Anyway, back to normal content).
