So anyway yes I picked my modules yaaaaay!

I'm so so excited now, now we've got modules I know we actually are coming back and I won't be stuck studying English literature in Spain anymore.
Bit worried by the dissertation but I'm sure it'll be okay. I was originally going to do it in the autumn semester so now I have a bit more time to think and plan it. Compulsory Spanish modules are all taught in Spanish which at first I thought was a bit scary and then I remembered the majority of my classes here are taught in Spanish and I stopped worrying. I'm looking forward to specialised translation because currently I am translating a Spanish toaster manual and it is soul destroying. If they don't let me on to Language and Gender I will kick off so so bad because they didn't let me last year because the class was full except they did it Friday 9am so nobody ever went so I definitely could have gone. Knobs. Anyway, I can't see a reason they would deny me now: I'm a finalist and I submitted my choices as soon as I was able to so if they do it's because they hate me. I've heard nothing but good things about Language and Society and my reserve choices seem fun so woooo I'm excited.
The more we use the LCS facebook page and I chat to other LCS people, the more excited I get about us coming home. I love my year abroad (ish) and Alicante (ish) and my pals here but I miss my loves.
I'm also ready to get back to UEA to go to classes which actually count and try v hard to get a first for my degree. After a "year off" we don't really have an excuse to do badly.
Ah well. I wanted to skip my class this afternoon but now I'm full of beans and motivation I guess I will go. Got tomorrow and Friday off so I will try and do some work! The weather is currently grey and rainy and horrible so the beach can't distract me. LATERS
