Everyone loves writing an 'about me' don't they. Especially those of us from the Myspace generation.
I am Katy, Northumbrian born and bred and am 24. I did my undergrad Spanish degree at UEA, erasmus year in Alicante and completed my MA in translation studies at Durham University and now teach English at a primary school in Lanzarote.
I like Robbie Williams and Twitter and being sarcastic and coastline and glitter. French cinema is the best, I'm awful with directions (apart from One Direction) and I am a feminist. I live in flip flops and really want a villa abroad with my own pool that I can be in all day every day.
If you want to read the ramblings of a crazy person who pretends to be northern royalty, you are very welcome to stick around.
Hasta luego/bye now/i will see you cats on the flip flop laaaaterrrrrrr!
Dear Katy
ReplyDeleteI was checking on my blog (as someone said they couldn't access it)
and came across your utterings and fellow thoughts! As a Northumbrian
abroad, I will always deny the Geordie tag, but that does not make me
any the lesser proud of"öur" great city and its folks!
A couple of times of late I have blogged about our last visit there -
what his does not say is that our last Indian meal was in Akbar's too,
and very fine indeed it was, before retreating to the Centurion.

Keep it all up!
I still wonder if we would not all be better off joining Scotland;
shifting the border, to the Gateshead southern boundary?
We'll be jetting back in to NCL in a couple of weeks for R & R!
Cheers
